Welcome to the Essex County Cricket Board website.
The recreational game of cricket is played throughout the
County, enjoyed by all who participate in
local clubs, schools inner cities and villages. Be it played
on grass or on the beach, the recreational game knows no cultural
or gender barriers.

UKCC Coach Award (level 2) Residential
Due to high demand, Essex is running
a pioneering residential Level 2 course at Felsted School,
starting on the 6th July 2008.

Coach Development Workshops
The county are also running the
6 coach development workshops in late July, coaches of any
qualification can attend these courses, however those holding
a Level 2 certificate and who attend all six workshops can
then be assessed to qualify as 'Club Coach'. Please
