Week Five
Warm up
Co-ordination Ball Work
Co ordination ball work.
Pupils are encouraged in this warm up to use hand, eye,
and ball co ordination skills. Pupils are asked to run
a lap of the playground or other area then find a partner.
With the partner stand two meters apart with if possible
a line between. One ball per pair, pupil one steps forward
placing the ball on the line, emphasise the stretching,
stands back, their partner stretches forward and flick
throws the ball back, this is done a number of times.
The group in then placed into groups of four, two one
side two the other about five meters apart, pupil one
runs forward places the ball on a designated spot and
joins the group opposite, pupil two attacks the ball and
throws underarm to three and so on.

Pupils are taught the long barrier and into the throwing
position.

Game Activity
Match Situation
With the pupils now having learnt to bat and bowl and
field, they are now put into a match situation where they
bowl against the person they originally selected as a
partner.
Comments
This session encompasses many aspects of, Movement, Co-ordination
and Body awareness.
